Mortimore made Literature Fun!!
This semester I was a little nervous about taking a literature class because I ABSOLUTELY HATE TYPING PAPERS!!!!! But getting to this class I really enjoyed it. She made the readings relate to our everyday lives. I loved ready the books, although some were confusing in the beginning. My favorite thing about the class was that she listened to us, and she knows what students like as far as learning and keeping the class in tuned and up while lecturing. Learning that we are becoming the dumbest generation and that using a lot of technology makes us ignorant to hard work. The readings suprised when I noticed hw well the readings actually connected to us. My favorite reading was "The Hunger Games". Another reading that was nice was the "Feed". These reading explained to us that we are living in ways that will soon effect us. In the feed it was mainly targeting the fact that we depend on technology and we are becomming dumb to the world around us. The Hunger Games explained that we watch to much reality television. Watch the Drama, the fights, and watch the crying. Why must we watch it? What are we getting out of it? Having this class really allowed me to questin my self and what Im doing in my life. I Love Professor Mortimore, and I loved the class. I enjoyed my group members too!!! This class was exellent.

ReplyDeleteI really liked that the lit was up to date and contemporary. I likes our group as well. We didn't butt head on opinions like some of the other groups.
