Blog# 4: "Why should we live with such hurry and waste of life? We are determined to be starved before we are hungry"

This week was a very interesting one. The readings and discussions were great and I really got into it this week. The Novel "Feed" was also great. It triggered some alert on a few subjects as I continued to read.  Reading this book made me wonder if our society is trying to become to advanced to soon. Or, if we are trying to put technology before everything else. Which made me consider this quote from another reading this week:
"Why should we live with such hurry and waste of life? We are determined to be starved before we are hungry".
So the question would be "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?"
I do believe that this quote has significant meaning because it tells us that we are too much in a hurry to do anything. So I'm applying this to my theory that we are rushing to get futuristic and be advanced in technology and not considering what we are doing.

  1. Itook this quote to mean that we are in such a hurry to see what comes next in our future that we dont care about the present. We forget to live in the moment.

  2. I totally agree, we're always in such a rush to get places. Our generation needs to learn to slow down and enjoy our lives.
